"The Tail Wagging the Dog" Trench Art #009 A piece of Karen found and rescued rusty sheet metal formed into a round tube mounted using a 5 point interior framework silver soldered to a 1/4" diameter stem yields a coarsely unique, corroded and perforated topper. The term "finial" just doesn't work here. I then turned an analogous vessel from Maple burl, pyrotextured and dyed, setting on four carved feet as a suitable home for the topper. 9" x 6" Thank you for looking!
