A pouring vessel inspired by the work of 19th century British designer Christopher Dresser. The body is made from three pieces of oak board carved, cut, glued, carved some more then colored with a mix of powdered aluminum and acrylic binder before a trip to the lathe and some fire colored highlights. I chose to make a small matching stand instead of legs keeping the square shape and flat surfaces intact. Dresser's work from 1879 is currently at auction with a starting bid of £24,000. You can add this one to your collection with a sack of 24,000 nickels. Thank you for looking!
